Success Criteria for Persuasive Writing

Convince me why. Give me a reason (or 3!). Learning to write persuasively is an important skill for our students to acquire. How else are they going to convince their parents to let them get a pet or their school to host a mufti day?

Here are 3 sets of WALTs and success criteria. You can select the one which is appropriate for the year level you teach or use all of them as your differentiation for more/less able writers.

KS1 Persuasive Writing Success Criteria
