I created this worksheet to use with my Year 2 students during our Science unit on Rocks. My students loved this activity and especially liked how they could add food colouring to get different coloured salt crystals! Just a word of warning to ensure that all of your students create a super-saturated solution (to the point where no more salt can dissolve in the water), otherwise you're at risk of getting some very disappointed little faces!
I also included a WALT (We Are Learning To) and Success Criteria at the top of the worksheet.
